"I’ve been training now for 15 years. I thought I knew pretty much every exercise and variation thereof….and then along came Fred.
The variety excited me and the various ranges of motion certainly keeps it interesting. Plus I never thought I’d be training with a medieval weapon in the garden (the neighbours are…😳)
Combine this with someone who has an insane amount of knowledge of injury causes and how to relieve them and you’ve got a one-stop shop in Fred!
I think having a PT training plan is like buying a suit. You can go and get one off the peg that is okay….or you can invest in one tailor made that is going to be perfectly designed for you.
It’s also about accountability. Go on your own and you can convince yourself that you tried your hardest. When you’re answerable to a PT you KNOW you’ve tried your all and have the sweat and tears to prove it. Bring on the DOMS 🤪"

"The most important thing is a cup of coffee and a chat! That helps to get me there....But having tailored programming and any necessary rehab work alongside and knowing all the foundations of my training is covered in my two sessions (so any other training I do is a bonus).
The focus on generic wellbeing and not just numbers is hugely important to me. You Talk it through, the training has to work for you so be honest about what you really want and keep communicating. - You're really good at that and being open to discussion"

"Fred took the time to understand what I was looking for from my training and his knowledge and passion shone through immediately. Fred puts together varied and interesting sessions that keep training interesting and enjoyable - I do sets of exercises I’ve never heard of before and using new equipment and ranges of movement means there are always new challenges. I always feel great after each session and can feel I am getting fitter and stronger each week.
Fred is really generous with his time and great fun to train with too!
What would you say to someone sitting on the fence?
I would say think about what your goals are and discuss them up front with a PT. Be honest with yourself about where you are and what you want to achieve. Also think about what you enjoy doing and how you get motivated, so you will stick at a programme longer-term.

"I train with Fred for a number of reasons... not least that his training values align with mine perfectly. Fred's workouts are not only effective, but varied, well structured and enjoyable too. He has introduced new tools and techniques that I haven't experienced in my decade in the industry and keeps introducing more each block. I like Fred's take on hybrid training helping me to feel strong, fast and functionally fit at the same time. I have improved specific skills like 1 arm pull ups and climbing whilst training for anything and everything without pigeon holing my training goals.
Lastly; I feel the most motivated I have for a long time and Fred's regular check ins and feedback keeps that motivation peaking!
Regardless of your experience or goals I would always reccomend hiring a PT or online coach such as Fred. I have been qualified as a personal trainer since 2013 and still I find the additional support, accountability and structure priceless. It's just too easy to skip a workout or drop a set at the end of a session when you are self programming, but having a coach like Fred keeps you engaged and aligned with your goals."

"I’m so happy I came over to the PT side of things prior to pregnancy I was getting soo strong and even now I feel stronger than I ever did before training with you. It’s made me fall in love with strength training and I’m so happy I’m out of the whole only working out to burn calories and sticking to cardio. My mindset towards exercise has completely shifted and I can’t wait to keep building on everything we’ve done especially post pregnancy with this one. To anybody wanting to start training I would say just make the time for it because it’s so important both mentally and physically, I bloody love it and definitely one of the best parts of my week"

"You are a great trainer, very knowledgeable and I feel comfortable. I keep coming back because I see results and what I do is tailored to me. An eg today…Louise did slightly different to me. With you Fred it’s your passion and how you tailor to the individual rather than just taking the money (if you know what I mean).
I have had PT trainers in the past at the gym and each customer was doing more or less the same. It wasn’t tailored to the individual. For me it was all about taking the money rather than anything else. So find someone who has a passion for getting you what you want. Also the environment is important. I would rather be in your garage than a big gym. It doesn’t feel like a chore."

"I can resolutely say that reaching out to Fred and starting a personal training programme has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. From this decision I have gained access to a great teacher and positive role model. Fred is knowledgeable, disciplined, and hard working.
I can resolutely say that reaching out to Fred and starting a personal training programme has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. From this decision I have gained access to a great teacher and positive role model. Fred is knowledgeable, disciplined, hard working and strong.
Through consistent training I have lost weight and gained better flexibility and functional strength which I have found protects me from injury at my physical job and gives me an edge in competitive sport.
I'm looking forward to continuing with Fred to see how much I can improve. Though the main reason I keep turning up is to listen to the old school hip hop classics 🙂"
